OTTAWA, ONTARIO - (Sept. 16, 2016) - On Saturday, September 17, Giant Tiger will celebrate the official opening of its newly relocated store in Chatham, Ontario.

The new Giant Tiger store, located at 595 Grand Avenue West, will occupy 26,230 square feet and will offer ice, vending, lottery, Slush Puppie, third-party gift cards, GT gift cards, stamps and Western Union.

The grand opening will be a fun-filled day with plenty of free activities for customers of all ages, including gift card and promotional giveaways, a princess meet and greet, free face painting, strolling entertainment and of course, a visit from Friendly, the Giant Tiger. There will also be Giant Value product sampling and a charitable BBQ, with proceeds supporting Outreach for Hunger.
