This important milestone commemorates Giant Tiger's longstanding presence in communities across Canada, as it continues to adapt to its customers' changing and diverse needs and provide them access to great fashion, home, seasonal and grocery products at everyday low prices.
In 1961, Gordon Reid established the first Giant Tiger in Ottawa's Byward Market. Sixty years later, the retailer has grown to over 260 locations across Canada and approximately 10,000 team members.
